Cartlist 32

UPDATE

I am updating Cartlist32. If you have suggestions of things you want to be added or changed, please email me at my email address below. All requests are welcome, but you must ask me via email. Requests not made via email are not guaranteed to get my full attention and will probably not go into the next version.

NOTICE

There is *NO* copyrighted material on this page. You will *NOT* find game images here. I don't know where to find them. I don't know what they are. I have no knowledge of that information, whatsoever. I shall deny it 'til the last breath in my body.

What is it?

Cartlist32 is a utility that manages your growing collection of ROM images. It automatically extracts name information from Super Nintendo, Gameboy, Sega Genesis, and Nintendo 64 images and presents them in a windowed listing. It can also generate name information for other types of consoles using the naming databases below. It's as easy as dragging and dropping your files from Explorer onto Cartlist32. It will automatically create lists of your games that can be compared, sorted, and merged. Duplicates can also be found and removed. For a more thorough explanation of what Cartlist32 can do (eg console utilities, importing, and loads of other features) take a look at the User Manual here.

I wish to thank all the members of #somewhere who assisted me in debugging Cartlist32 and who also helped me in expanding the functionality of Cartlist32 by their requests. Safe havens of sanity are becoming something of a rarity on IRC, and I'm glad that the few channels I frequent adhere to this characteristic....most of the time :P

I also wish to thank my wife and daughter for putting up with my monopolization of the computer until I went ahead and got another one.

If you wish to contact me, you can email me, or you can ICQ me, or you can reach me on EFNet IRC under the /nick of SunTzu7.

What's the deal with the about box????
