Since my reply to your email bounced back, here's my reply:

They appear once in the quick bioslookup and later on as "real" sets
with some more detailed information.

Well..get the correct/complete biossets and put them in their belonging
systemdefaultpaths. Maybe they were in use or the zips are corrupt, so
take a look at scanner's warnings window (dockable below the scanner)
for a possible message there.
