I am new to MAME and got the .80 rom set from a friend.
I have read all the documentation but it sort of sucks.

I was able to add Mame080 and i am missing zero roms

then i add a profile for mame081 to update to that and when i click update/load it says that it is running "/dmame.exe -listinfo"

then it sits there and times out with a error.

i have also downloaded mame082 with the same results ... how do i get the DAT files from 081/82 so that i can up date my romsets?

or where is new good documentation of the new version that isnt just a how to do it .. but what to do if it fails? Please help me!
