SubjectThe best thing you could add to ClrMamePro Reply to this message

Hello!

ClrMamePro was done to manage the mame collection. But as you know, ClrMamePro is used by a LOT of people managing their TOSEC dats. Actually, there's 459 dats. And you could imagine the time took to REBUILD the entire collection (according we have all the roms needed).

The best thing you could add to ClrMamePro is the ability to manage multiple dats at once. For example, scanning or rebuilding the 459 dats at once, creating the directories needed from the name of the dats and using the default configuration.

Everybody wait this feature and i ask you if you have planned it? I know it's time consumming, but it will be so wonderful if you could :) Do you have any idea ?

I'll appreciate to know your opinion about that.

Thanks Roman

It has been requested a lot of times....I doubt I will add it though....There are utilities out there which merge datfiles, so there is no real need for that. What may come is some kind of batch mode which allows to sequentially do scanning or something. Anyway...I'm busy with real life so don't expect anything anytime soon.

I'll check the utilities which merge the dats. The possibility to batch the scanner or the rebuilder is a good solution without recoding everything. We'll wait the time needed for this.

Thanks :)
