Well apparently I'm not the only one to have discovered that. I've just had to re-zip an updated ROM file because of the non-standard zip architecture.

Would you consider putting an option in to handle this? Because I'm sure at some point some yahoo will zip all umpteen dozen roms in some update with this.

Ok - I can get around this, but was wondering, since I'm guessing (now that you mention it) the MAME enginetype has sample support. I thought they were really close, but I guess not.
