iirc cmpro always shows the correct information why it's a bad zip in the warning window. It's always: corrupt zipfile xyz: reason: bla

I know the guy who uploaded it and I know it was a mistake. Since zlib can't compress/decompress it that way, it won't work in mame either. I doubt we will see more of such compressed files, since most available sets on newsgroups etc. are directly taken from cmpro-made-collections. Besides that non-standard compressiontype is out for a long time and nobody used it yet that often.
