I have some NES roms that I use with the FCE Ultra emulator in my MAME cabinet. I'd like to scan them using CLRmame to make sure they are correct and that I have all of them, just as I do with my MAME roms. I downloaded the Good NES .dat file, pointed CLRmame to the NES roms directory and hit scan. I get an error "no sets found in rompath". I have changed many options in CLRmame and I keep getting this.
Am I using the correct .dat file to scan NES roms? I am not using good NES and this .dat mentions it is a Good NES .dat
If I am using the wrong .dat, which .dat file should I use to check my NES roms?
What is the difference between the NES.dat and the NES_single_folder.dat files, and which one should I use?
