Well...no by hashalgorithm created hashvalue is unique. Today it's rather easy to fake a crc32 (same hashvalue, same filesize, different data). It was just a matter of time and CPU power to create files which differ in content but got the same hashvalue.

Absolutely nothing to worry about if it comes to MAME/ClrMamePro. Besides MAME uses SHA1.
