SubjectRebuilder feature request new Reply to this message

When using the Rebuilder, I usually don't "Recompress Files", because it saves a lot of time. Now if cmpro finds a rom in a zip in the Rebuilder source folder, and that rom is already in the destination folder, what will cmpro do? Does cmpro ignore it?

My idea is, if cmpro finds that the rom in the source is better compressed than the rom in the destination, cmpro can replace the one in the destination with the one in the source.

I don't know if this feature already exists or someone's come up with it before, but I think it's quite useful, at least for me.

Thanks.

If the file already exists in the destination, cmpro won't rebuild it again.

currently there's no such feature...although that idea is listed on my wip/future page...don't know if it ever comes in since I'd like to do a full rewrite...but real life takes too much time....time will tell.
