Ok, I've got an acceptable copy of the bios again (the AtlusPSX bios), and ClrMamePro now see's no errors at all (I'm not looking at completely absent ROMs). But Mame32 (now the 0.86 version) STILL only see's 754 roms, the same ROM sets remain broken. How do I get CMP to restore to it's back up and retrieve the missing ROM sets?
