Hi Roman, let me start by saying a big THANKS for your amazing piece of software, it really makes all of us crazy colectors & gamers lifes a lot easier, but yesterday I had a problem with the new Mess release.
I let CM do a DATfile from the executable, selected my rompath for Mess Bios, did a scan, (checked to fix everything and Merged Sets), CM says I missed 4 sets, one I had (jagboot.rom), copied it into Mess Bios path, did a scan again, and then I see that I miss now 119 sets ! If i´m not wrong, I miss all the clones. No problem downloading them all again, I think I have a copy somewhere at house, but the question is, was this my fault ?
I made some kind of mistake or bad use of CM features ?

Thanks again for your hard work.

Edit: I forgot to say I have Backup option enabled but I found Backup folder empty. During the scanning process, a lot of times CM said "ZZZ is 100% identical to YYY set", I clicked OK every time. And when CM ask me to delete some rom or set I said Yes, because I think CM knows well what he's doing :)

Mess' romoutput is a mess ;) It has a lot fake clones (set x is 100% set y) and some other bad entries. But that shouldn't effect clrmamepro in the described way. I will check it later today. If I remember correctly you shouldn't keep mess sets full merged, because it has some wrong entries which will overwrite each other...well..I will do tests later.

Hy people!!!

I had the same problem using merged set, then I decided to make a full clean rebuilt with split sets and the magic happens!!! no more missing roms!

PS I also suggest to set CM datfile error handling on 'hide common', this saves a lot of useless click-click-click....

Where exactly can I set this ? The biggest useless clicking is when I make a new Dat extracting it from the .EXE, is there any way to prevent this ?

Thanks !

Hmm...in fact it may be an issue with CMPro's scanner. Merging them to fullmerged sets works fine (using the Merger). I will do further tests.

You can disable the annoying messages in Settings->show datfile errors->hide common...

*edit* scanner bug confirmed. fix on the way. thanks a lot..because this is a major bug.
