Hi Roman,

I have noticed something strange since working on collecting the TOSEC sets. I would scan, then save a fixdat. However, I would look at the fixdat, and the results were sometimes totally off.

Check this out as an example. Here's the log file :

As you can see, what it has saved to the fixdat file is slightly wrong. The log was saved automatically once scanning was completed, then I saved the fixdat straight after that (approx 5 seconds).

There was another case where I had 4 totally missing sets showing in the scanner results, then only 2 of the sets saved to the fixdat.

Any ideas?

SK.

Wow...really looks weird. No idea how that happened. Do you have the belonging datfile and maybe a handful files, so I can repeat that issue here? Mail them to clrmame@clrmame.com

Looks like the fixdatfile always took the next set instead of the missing one....Weird...very weird.

Maybe a cache issue. Clear the cache folder (e.g. by using the clear cache button in the profiler), scan and save again.
