It will take long. Currently my major goal is to make it checksum independent....since MAME supports SHA1 I doubt they will keep the CRCs in -listinfo on the long run. A lot of tests (name checks, etc) use crc32 currently. It's a lot of work to make it completely checksum independant.
After that I might concentrate on the subfolders. It's not that easy as it might sound...and cmpro is a one-man-project currently...so gimme some time.
