The Bios file is to the games. I am not sure why it showed up when you just did a scan on the sound files. Unless you had one of the roms or sets checked by chance.
As for the uneeded You can remove them manualy if you want to. But do it the easy way. Just check the unneeded box and it will remove them for you keeping the files ziped up, if you have them ziped.
They will be stored in the backup folder in the ClrMame directory.
