No. If you prefer systemdefault paths, YOU HAVE to set the fixmissing option to use them as well. What you do to clean up your addpaths is your choice ;) Adding with rebuilder with 'remove rebuilt source' is fine. If you don't use the "fix missing uses sysdefpaths" option, you may get a set created in a wrong path by using fixmissing. As I said: Fixmissing adds/creates files like this:
- if the set with the missing rom partly exists in a rompath, that path is chosen and the file (assuming it was found somewhere) is added to that existing set.
- if the set misses all roms and fixmissing finds files in the addpaths, it will create the set in the 1st rompath UNLESS you set that "fixmissing uses sysdefpaths" option. Then the assigned sysdefpath is used to create the set.
