3.62a (25-Feb-2005)
===================

added: a little new toy...not documented yet...it's highly wip...and you use it
on your very own risk. Only for people who use more than one profile ;)
...not that hard to find ;)

misc: settings-sets->select sets can use variables %m, %d, %s, %y and %b now.
(manufacturer, description, sourcefile, year and bios)
For example to only enable "Capcom" and sets from the years 2000-2009
sets you can enter: %m=*capcom*; %y=200*. The ";" here isn't a boolean
AND, in fact it's an OR ;) Not Capcom games from 2000+, but all kind of
sets from 2000+ and capcom sets (from any year) are selected.

misc: compiled with updated zipclass library (includes zlib 1.2.2)
misc: chd verify progress shows setname + chdfilename instead of full pathname.
misc: settings->remove removes all listed paths if you selected the root item
misc: dir2dat warns if the dat should be created in a non-existing folder
misc: removed fixdats restrictions (except remove-rebuilt-sourcefile)
misc: export dat exports biosyear and sourcefile tags, too

fixed: some errors can appear when you're using relative rompaths

so when you do the scan, is it done with the last used scan settings for each file (besides overriding that "don't ask for fixes"), or does it use some other kind of scan default from default.cmp or what? i would test but right now the amount of roms in my hd is quite limited to test this feature at its full...

Are you asking for doumentation Pi?

Yes, that is my take on it.

No, it wouldn't work. It has to use settings for the specific data file.

Roman, the feature is great.

My current usage: always show a summary and have a 1 second delay (plenty of time for me to cancel).

Well...hehehe...it's a little toy since I was getting sick scanning all your supplements dats in order ...click here..click there....;)

Pi: It loads the profile with all its settings. Runs the scan, and so on. The options at the batchrun window will override the specific values for the current scanrun but WON'T change them in the profile.

Lemme know if you need more options...

that's what i thought and i think it's the best, but wanted to be sure.

i'd just add only one more option, i think. one to override current fixing options, and set them to fix everything or to not fix anything. actually it should be a three option box:
* fix with current scan settings.
* override and fix everything.
* override and fix nothing, just do a scan.

or 2 checkboxes where you can't choose both at the same time, but have both disabled if you want.
