Hi,

This is a pretty minor bug, but I thought it might be worth mentioning all the same.

If you have the following line in default.cmp:
Settings_BackupFolder = C:\some_dir_name\

...then when you create a new profile using the settings from default.cmp, it seems to ignore this line and just sets the backup folder to [Clrmame dir]\backup\ , requiring you to then manually change it to the backup folder you want to use.

Like I said it's only a minor bug and doesn't urgently need fixing, but might be nice to add to a todo list for when you have time to work on Clrmame.

thanks...will check if default.cmp doesn't store the backuppath.

Hmmm....I changed the path, used "save as default", added a new datfile, used "use default.cmp" and the changed path appears....

...so why doesn't it work for you?

Thanks for the quick reply.

Just did some more testing. The problem doesn't occur if I add a new datfile - it only happens if I create a new profile using an emulator binary.
