When a rom zip file is renamed, could the date be updated?
Sorting by date is a fast way to copy the latest changes to a backup location.

When the rom path has both the right and wrong zip file names, it asks to rename and fails, because the correct name already exists.
Could the scanner delete the wrong name if the right one is there?

in the scanner, click on "advanced..." and be sure that "move not renamed sets to backup" is checked.

Disable Settings->Presevere Archive Date/Time
Disable Settings->Presevere File Date/Time

Enable Settings->Advanced->move not renamed sets to backup (besides this is active by default...so maybe you changed it ;))

Thanks, The Advanced setting I missed.
I should have checked the newer versions for the rename.
I remember old versions only changed the date if they edited
the zip file (like windows does). I never saw it in the changed features and assumed it still was the same.
