SubjectFilling my friend's missing roms new Reply to this message

I've read through the help and at least one tutorial and I'm not sure how to go about this.

My friend is missing a couple thousand roms and a hundred or so sets. I'd like to give him a CD with only the missing roms/sets. I'm hoping ClrMamePro can help me.

I figure I need something like the "Dir2Dat" tool - although I'd need my friend to generate a dat file based on roms he's missing not ones he has. Then I could take that DAT file and rebuild using my sets as an Add folder.

Anyone know what the best way is to go about this? Without handing him my whole hard drive?

He should scan his collection and should save a fixdatfile (scan, then scanner popupmenu->save->fixdatfile). After receiving that fixdatfile from him, you rebuild the missing files...tada..done.
