SubjectFastcan and disk images - bug? new Reply to this message

I'm using ClrMamePro 3.63b.
I did a full scan on a Mame set (scan sets/roms/diskimages + all checks + unzip ROMS / decompress Chd and check SHA1)
1) Having some corrupt zips, the roms that are unreadable inside the zip are signalled in the scan result window but disappear if I change the Hide/Show settings. I must relaunch the scan tho show them again.
2) When I launch a subsequent FastScan it doesn't skip the Chd files that were OK in the scan process, while the correct roms/sets are skipped.

Yes, known thing, since it's not a real database mismatch but a fileerror. Don't know if I change that behaviour.

Scan and fastscan are identical. Fastscan only rescans the sets which were listed in a previous scan. Hmm...wonder why it rescans the chds again...will check that.

*edit* ah...only clonesets with diskimages are affected. Will change that for the next version.

*again* hmm...can't repeat it here exactly. I made a dat with only the area51 sets, scanned them with decompressing the chds, hit a fastscan and they weren't touched again. Guess it might only happen if you disabled clonesets. Will do further testing...but currently I can't confirm the misbehaviour.
