This sounds like the way to go for me. Maybe I'll try repairing them, but the ones I use the most - I already have retrieved the 'working' versions of them. Its mostly alot of the misc games that I'll never play that I want to get off the system.
I think I'll try working with the above suggestion first. And if I get stuck, I'll read more of the documentation as you suggested. Like I said earlier, sometimes too much info turns into overkill for someone trying to accomplish one thing.
