Hello I am trying to figure out a way to set up all the TOSEC dat files quickly without much luck. Its really time consuming hand setting up 400+ dat files. There is not dir structure in the dat files as i took them straight from the new TIM program. Anyways the quickest way i have found so far is load a profile and drag the dir into the rom path in the settings. I would really like to use the dir structure made by TIMl. Any Suggestions? One idea that i had is to be able to drag the folder onto the Not Used dat file in the profiler. That would save having to go into every profile and the setting option.

Sorry to say...but there is no easy way. Well...you could use the batchload to load a bunch of new datfiles, but -since they are new- clrmamepro will ask you for each if you want to create a new default profile.
Moving/creating folderstructures within the profiler can be done by drag&drop later.

Guess I add some auto-create-default profile or something to the batch job.

Maybe someone got a batchfile which creates the dats/settingsfiles and folder structures for you. cmpro's datfile and settings folder have to have the same subfolder structures....and a default profile shouldn't be too hard to generate...anyway...currently I don't know a simple method.

What do you think about my idea on dragging a folder onto the unused dat file and having it set that folder as the romfolder in the settings. that would save a ton of time and i would think alot of people would use that feature
Thx JustusIV

Will think about some more fast options to add multiple dats and create their profiles....

keep them coming ;)
