You have to be aware of several things. First of all..the correct rompath settings. Note, there is no rompath-subfolder support, so you always have to be sure you set them right. Look at the set definitions in the datfile. The correct rompath can be easily guessed from there then. CMPro supports 2 scan methods:

rompath\setname.zip for zipped sets
rompath\setname\rom 1 ... rom n for unzipped sets


The second thing you might have to care about is set-subfolders. A set can have its roms stored in subfolders. The romname needs the path included then...Example:
game (
name pacman
description "a pacman game"
rom ( rom1.bin size ..... )
rom ( addons\filexyz.bla .... )
rom ( blablabla\bla\bla.bin....)
)

Dir2Dat provides an option to enable the setsubfoldersupport.



If you like you can send me your created datfile and don't forget to tell me what you want to scan in which folder and which foldernames you set as rompaths.
