well..CreateProcess reacts even more stupid. It doesn't look in the currently selected folder first (which would be right since I changed it correctly), but looks in the applications dir first (the application which calls CreateProcess).

Nope. In early ClrMamePro times, it used the xerces.dll (a xml parser engine) to parse a possible xml output. I replaced that with my own parser long ago now. xml2info was never used by clrmamepro.
