SubjectRequest: Setting for errors between "Show common" and "Show all" Reply to this message

Hi,

First of all I'd like to thank you for the great and useful tool that is ClrMamePro.

I have one tiny request...

When creating a profile from a MAME binary, you have 3 options for error reporting: Hide Common, Show Common, and Show All.

If you choose "Show All", when loading a new binary, you receive a load of prompts about errors. My problem is, that I want to answer "no" to some of the questions (like the "Merging between different systems" one). But in order to do this, you have to choose "Show All" and click "OK" through hundreds of messages complaining about a "Double ROM". If you choose "Show Common", then the "Double ROM" prompts are skipped, but so are the "Merging between different systems" ones.

What I'd like to see is a new option which does something like "Only show errors where you are given a choice". So the questions like "Possible wrong BIOS ROM name..." and "Possible missing alternative Samplesfolder..." would show up, because you have a choice between Yes/No, but the "Double ROM" ones wouldn't, because all you can do with those is click "OK". That way, if you want to use a non-default option for handling errors, you wouldn't have to click through hundreds of "OK" prompts every time a new u-version of MAME is released.

I hope you can find time to implement this, and thanks in advance :)
