Hello
this happens me so many many times now, that i decided to request your help.
I have many folders like CPS, CPS2 ...
but my main roms folder is ROMS
once I scan+fix I get this :
what can I do, first to get the missing or new rom part to be rebuild in the correct path ie: cps2 and not in ROMS ?
what i can I do for the moment to delete all duplicated this build under my roms\ folder in order to keep the roms where they should be ? (right click on the set and delete does not work)
here the pic

Well....you're not aware of serveral fixing rules:

If you're using fix-missing, found missing files are put to:

- if the set already partly exists, it uses the rompath with that existing set
- if the set doesn't exist it puts the file in the 1st rompath
- if you're using system-default-paths and got the belonging fixmissing option in scanner advanced enabled, the assigned sysdef path is used in any case.

These rules also apply on wrong-placed sets which are detected by the unneeded check.

If you're using the rebuilder to add files, sysdefpaths are used or the given destination.

Other fixing operations (size, name, case etc) work on the file itself.

Your problem is basically you want to split up sets by system which aren't really defined as different systems. There is no difference between CPS and CPS2 from the clrmamepro point of view. Systems are defined by BIOSsets and CPS/CPS2 don't use BIOSsets.

If you want to split up you should use system-based datfiles .
