Hi Roman,

Been a couple of weeks since I've had anything to ask you about, so here goes X)

1) The option 'Remove Rebuilt Sourcefiles' can be a little misleading, as it will remove the file even if rebuilds it into the set or not, right? Perhaps 'Remove Recognized Sourcefiles' might be better wording?

2) I know you won't like this option (I think we spoke about it a couple of months ago, and you didn't like it), but had to ask anyway. If you have wrong size/wrong CRC roms in one or more sets, this is not being taken into account in the Profiler when showing the status of the datfile and the count of missing roms. What would be the chances of adding an option that will 'Move Not Fixed Size/CRC To Backup', much like the option for not fixed name? Either that, or take the Wrong Size/Wrong CRC count into account when showing the status & count of the dat in the Profiler?

Thanks,

SK.

Hmmm...I think it's clear enough ;)

Wrong checksums and sizes are already taken by the "move incomplete" and "delete incomplete" options.

Not for the n00b I spoke to the other day that pulled out half his collection, thinking that because he already had the files there it would not remove them from their current position....it wasn't for me, I know exactly what it does, but for a first time user the wording could be slightly misleading. ;)

But if you do a batch scan of say 50 datfiles, and the 10th one has wrong size/crc roms in there, how do you know to go back to that dat if it's appearing with a green dot, with 0 missing roms in the Profiler? I mean, if the rom has a wrong size/crc, then you are 'missing' the correct rom ;)

As I said in the original post, if the wrong size/crc counts were taken into account in the Profiler, that would be enough.

little wip note:

- wrong sized roms and wrong checksums will lead to a red profile

- renamed "remove rebuilt sourcefiles" to "remove matched sourcefiles"
