Have you abandonned them now? I hear cowering is bringing out some new goodtools soon and I prefer to use clrmamepro as it feels 'cleaner' than using goodtools. I like the fact that it renames the file extensions, goodtools does not, and goodtools doesn't care if roms are byte swapped etc.
