Usually bad zips (corrupt data / corrupt structure) would be listed in the dockable warningswindow below the scanner. If you enable settings->zipsettings->full zip structure scan, you get an even stricter zipscanner (which is a bit slower though).
Bad zips are usually detected and skipped (so all roms in that set appear as missing). If you talk about crc32 errors while decompressing the zips, you have to enable Scanner->Checksums->unzip rom and calculate crc32.
