In fact...you don't have to care. The datfile lists table files grouped in sets, so you can simply setup a rompath and put the sets in there. So if your rompath is C:\pinballtables, you should have a for example a "Zap Trap [Original]" folder in there or a "Zap Trap [Original].zip" file containing the 3 listed files. Shouldn't be a problem at all. What you can do is, simply rebuild all your misc table files to a rompath. That's the usual way to add new sets or clean up a folder of unsorted misc stuff.
