Sure you haven't changed some time-intensive setting? Like enabling sha1 checks, full zipstructure scans, etc...

Test it by using the old build again. With a reboot (to be sure no caching effects can happen).

Yep, no changes. I tried again using both executables and I noticed a slight speed difference. On my first try I had the impression it was way slower, now, comparing side by side, I can tell you there's a 5% speed difference between the two.

well...new compiler -> new compiler options...but as you can see on my side I switched back to the VS2003 version for now...but I try to create a 2005 build when I got some time and release it as some kind of public beta besides the official build......

don't ask me when...currently I'm a bit busy with reallife work...
