Subjectwwwprofiler dats in directories new Reply to this message

I have my dats stored in directories (arcade, console, etc.). Is it possible that the wwwprofiler can download the files from f.e. the No-Intro site in a seperate dir? I know if I do this manually and then update through the profiler it will also work, but I was just wondering.

TIA, alcoatjez

Downloading will always put the dats in the root datfile folder currently....I will look if that can be changed.

As soon as you created profiles and moved them to subfolders (via the profiler), downloading will still put the files in the root, BUT as soon as you update/load the new ones, they automatically replace the ones in the subfolders.

Ok, thanks for the quick reply. It's not much of a trouble for me to put them in dirs myself for the first time, but it will perhaps be when I decide to add more sites to the wwwprofiler.

Thanks again, alcoatjez

I will have a look if you can specify a downloadfolder...in fact that shouldn't be too tough. Although the folder has to exist in the profiler....hmm...maybe another good idea: users should be able to add a new path in the selector window.

*edit* ok...you'll be asked for a profiler folder now (like when creating a profile).
