It means that MAME's export didn't produce a valid file. Maybe you're not using a clean compile of MAME or you're using an unoffical build. Another possible reason is, you ran out of diskspace. clrmamepro runs the mame executable with parameter -listxml and redirects the output to a file in cmpro's temp folder. So check if you a) use an official mame binary from mamedev.org or mame.net b)got enough free diskspace. Maybe other programs (like virusscanners) block the access to the redirected file too. Disable them while getting the data.
