So here is what I replied...

Sounds like you have some serious problems with your machine. There are
no known freezes or crashes in zipmax or clrmamepro...and there is no
reason to force them quit.

If you can't delete the files you probably haven't reset the
accessrights. Under an NT based system (like WinXP) you can simply reset
the rights if you have administration rights.
