well...it's always the same procedure:
- load a datfile (no matter if taken from your disk or the www profiler) - if it's a new datfile, chose 'default' - go to settings and setup a rompath - go to the scanner and scan
So for artwork dats like flyers you do exactly this. Now the general two scanning rules: rompath\setname\file 1 ... file n for unzipped sets rompath\setname.zip for zipped sets
That should help to setup rompaths correctly. An example is the flyers datfile. If we look at it (e.g. in a texteditor), we see that it only got one set named "flyers"
game ( name flyers ... )
So if we keep the flyers zipped, we use something like rompath\flyers.zip, otherwise rompath\flyers\png 1 ... png n
And if you look closer at the datfile you see that the png files are listed as roms, so you scan them exactly as roms in your mame profile.
So the main thing you have to care about is to setup the rompath correctly.
