I noticed that in some cases the buttons are not drawn anymore. The sequence that reproduces the problem for me (at least most of the time) is the following: Change the buttons to a custom bitmap (e.g. drdoom), close clrmame pro, start it again, and close the profiler window and the buttons are gone (areas are grey). It never happens with the standard buttons. You can change the buttons back to the custom buttons and they will be drawn perfectly ok as long as you do not exit clrmame pro again. I have been using the drdoom buttons almost from the start and never saw any problems so far. I am using version 3.89a on Windows XP.

Sorry....can't reproduce that here. I followed your steps but the buttons are always drawn correctly.

The only reason why they can't get drawn is when the resource can't be loaded by a system library call. Send me your email address and I may give you a release which shows a detailed errorprompt or something.

Besides...nothing has been changed to the buttons drawing stuff since years. The only thing that did change was the switch to VS2005 though.

Thought I should let you know: Since I updated to 3.90 the custom buttons have been behaving ok again. Whatever caused the problem it seems to be fixed now. I suppose you did not change any of the routines, did you. Nevertheless, the problem seems to have disappeared.
