SubjectHelp with Rebuilder Reply to this message

Can someone help me with the rebuilder? I have my merged roms in folders (Mame\roms\) and a folder of update roms in a temp folder. How do I use the rebuilder to rebuild them? I have tried to set the source to my roms folder and to scan subfolders, but it wants to rebuild EVERYTHING. I then set the source folders to add paths and dropped the new update into the scanner window, but all it does it rebuild the update zip.

Is there a way to have it JUST rebuild the files associated with the updates and not all the files in the source paths?

Any help would be appreciated.

Matt

The Merger did it in about 10 seconds...sheesh...I've been manually updating for about 2 years and then scanning when this tool would have done it in seconds all that time! AGGGHHHHH! Oh well, very cool! Thanks Roman!

Well..and now I tell you that the merger is the least needed module ;)

Usually the scanner does everything for you and the rebuilder is used to add new stuff. In this case the rebuilder DESTINATION points to your main romfolder where your clean roms are and the rebuilder SOURCE points to the to-be-added sets.
The rebuilder takes everything valid from the source (no matter if names are correct) and adds them correctly (with the right name, etc) to the destination.
