Using the latest ClrMAME Pro (3.89b), the following messages are reported:

Cloneset: 'couplei'
uses equal names for different ROMs
and so it can't be merged to its parentset: 'couple'

Parent/clone relationship will be removed.

Cloneset: 'couplep'

Cloneset: 'spacedxj'
uses equal names for different ROMs
and so it can't be merged to its parentset: 'spacedx'

Parent/clone relationship will be removed.

Possible missing alternative samples folder: 'spaceod2'
in set 'Space Odyssey (version 1)'

Set it to: 'spaceod' (Space Odyssey (version 2))?




Possible missing alternative samples folder: 'wotwc'
in set 'War of the Worlds (color)'

Set it to: 'wotw' (War of the Worlds)?


Not sure if this is something with ClrMAME Pro or not but these games are fine in MAME.
