SubjectProblem with renaming Reply to this message

Clrmame does not seem to want to rename folders correctly that have odd control characters in them.

Here is the result from my No-Intro GP32 dat.
I was wondering if you could help explain what was going on Roman.
By the way, I thought that since the rom was (K) I might have to install the Korean language pack but it didn't seem to do anything.
Thanks. This is the only problem I have ever had with clrmame over the years. Thanks again for awesome software!

Normal behaviour. You have to toggle Settings->Zipsettings->OEM/Ansi Conversion.

...and kick the datfile author to use standard characters. Keep in mind there are things like codepages and characters convert to different chars depending on the used codepage of the datauthor and yours.
