SubjectRed Profile on Complete Set new Reply to this message

Well, I just can't get my v0.109 set to scan green. Everything is complete with the exception of the following:

Missing Roms: 706 (706 are 'nodumps') of 91463
Missing Bytes: 325mb of 50gb

I obviously have set it to hide nodumps, and do not have the create box checked. In addition, I have the treat nodumps as unneeded selected under advanced options. But, the profile still shows up as red using the latest version of CMP (3.91b). Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

A Profile appears red if:
you miss at least a set, a biosrom, a sample, a diskimage, or a rom or if a file has a wrong checksum. If the the number of missing nodumps is identical to the number of missing roms, it's green, but the other rules apply.
So be sure you got disks/samples/sets/samples enabled and do a full scan (not fastscan) again.

My MAME profile still shows red!

Hmm..can't repeat your issue here. Probably something failed while writing the numbers back to the settings file...open the belonging cmp file (settings folder) with a texteditor (when cmpro is not running) and look the entries

Misc_MissingSets
Misc_MissingRoms
Misc_MissingBIOSRoms
Misc_MissingSamples
Misc_MissingDiskImages
Misc_WrongSizedRoms
Misc_WrongChecksums
Misc_MissingNoDumps

they should match 0, you can reset them there by setting them to -1 if you like.

Maybe the number of Misc_MissingNoDumps is bigger than the number of Misc_MissingRoms....would be interesting to know that.

So please let me know what your cmp file lists there!

....or maybe you didn't enable all sets or systems? Check Scanner->Systems if everything is enabled and Scanresults->Sets if all sets are enabled.

Sorry for the prolonged delay in responding, I was out of town.

All are 0 with the exception of:

Misc_MissingDiskImages = 86

So I reset that to -1, rescanned, and it went back to 86. I don't have DiskImages selected to be scanned.

Oops, I meant that all are normal:

Misc_MissingRoms = 706
Misc_MissingNoDumps = 706

...not 0 as previously stated.

Well...you miss diskimages, that's why the profile is red. No matter if you scan for them or not. I may change the behaviour to ignore missing diskimages if you don't scan for them but iirc it's the same with samples. No matter if you enable them, missing samples will mark it as red. As said....I may change the behaviour but the reason for your red profile it the number of missing diskimages.

Ah, well at least I know I'm not going nuts. Thanks for the quick reply as always.

Oh, and you can put me down as voting in favor of green when diskimages are not selected, or possibly make it an advanced option.
