SubjectWhere do I tell clrmamepro what sets I have and don't have? new Reply to this message

When I run a scan, it tells me I'm missing every one of the thousands of romsets that MAME supports that I don't have. There used to be a place in the clrmamepro settings that would let me tell it which romsets I have, so that it would ignore the ones I don't have, and there was even an 'Available' button which would automatically select the romsets that I had zip files for.

I can't find that setting in recent versions of clrmamepro. What happened to it?

All set related options were moved to the 'Set information' window (accessable through Scanner's scan results tree window).

Normally you don't have to disable any sets anyway. Keep all enabled and turn off 'View->Show all missing sets' in Scanner's popup menu.

Where is that? I don't see any popup menu in the Scanner's window.

Well....when I talk about the Scanner I always mean both windows 8). The main Scanner window with all the buttons and checkboxes and the scan results tree window. If you do a righ click in the scan results tree window you see the popup menu.
