Romsets change from version to version. That's a fact. It's caused by all kind of reasons. Filenames will be renamed to match the actual IC on the board, overdumps get shortened to the correct size, baddumps get replaced with good dumps, parent/clone relationships change, PROMS and GALS etc are added.

So...clrmamepro will fix most common problems for you automatically, but if new files were added you need to have the file somewhere of course. clrmamepro can then add it automatically.
