SubjectMac version of clrmamepro? new Reply to this message

Hello, I was wondering if there were a Mac version available of this utility. It appears to be PC-only. I searched the forum first, and I saw a few mentions of people using it on their Macs. I did download the zip file of clrmamepro, but there wasn't a Mac file in it; just several folders and an .exe file that wouldn't open. If it is possible to use this on my Mac, how can I get it up and running? Thanks for your help.

There is no other port than Windows available. Although people let it run on Macs and Linux machines via virtual machines and windows emulators.
Due to lack of time other ports aren't planned at the moment.

Thanks for the reply. Is there some Mac equivalent of clrmamepro? Basically what I'm trying to do is rebuild/change a later romset (around v.100, give or take in either direction) back down to v.84 so it would be compatible with my MAMEoX emulator for the Xbox; I was told in another forum that my best bet would be to use clrmamepro to do this. Would if I could! Any other Mac alternative to achieve this goal would be great. Thanks.

I don't know any tool, sorry. According to this post: http://www.clrmame.com/cgi-bin/wwwthreads/showpost.pl?Board=clrmame&Number=3183 virtualpc (or whatever the name was) works fine though (or rather fine).
