Ok I certainly misunderstood.. but I've tried this by placing my dat in the rom folder and the result is that still no directory is chosen by default.

Sorry for being a pain, but perhaps others have similar questions.

I think I'm going to make a small util that will rename the dats so that the name = directory. Example:

Acorn 8bit - Utilities (TOSEC-v2006-03-16_CM).dat
inside file: name "Acorn 8bit - Utilities"

The directory should be "Acorn/8bit/Utilities". So my program will just put a / where the first space is, and then change the " - " to a /, problem solved (I think).

If I get this working let you guys know.
