Does anyone know of a way to create a custom datfile for ClrMamePro? I'm finding that I spend more time on maintaining my ROM collection than on actually enjoying the games and I'd like to streamline my collection to just the "golden age" era games. I'm trying to figure out how to create a datfile based on the year of the game. Any suggestions?
well...with profiler->dir2dat you got a simple datfile creator handy. An easy select by year can currently only be done manually by looking at the possible added year tag (e.g. by using 'match tag data' from a previous loaded mame datfile).
