As you all know, MAME 0.75 made all of the previous Testdrivers to show up as Non-Working, which is like 1.5GB of new ROMS that just don't work.
Now, I don't mind having them in my collection, but I'd kind of like to move them to a different directory tree, rather than the main roms/systems one I currently have.
I've been trying to figure out how to do it. What I'd LOVE to see is an option in ClrMame to put non-working games into different directories. But, of course, this opens up a whole can of worms about doing somewhat arbitrary organization of a ROMset, and I know Roman's time is limited.
So, barring a response from him saying "Wow, that's a great idea, I'll go add the ASAP!" :), I need to figure out another way to do it. I know I can just move the rom files that are non-working into a different tree, and add the dir to ClrMame's rom path, so it will at least look there. But without its help, I'll be managing moving the roms to that new directory myself.
So, I tried to figure out an easy way to find "non-working" ROMS, and I couldn't find it in mame -listinfo or mame -listxml. There was a "preliminary" status, but there were about twice as many roms in that status than MAME32 shows in its "non-working" folder...
So, barring an addition to ClrMame to help, anyone know of an easy way to get the list of romnames that are currently considered non-working?
