Well...always keep in mind the general scanning rules:
rompath\setname\file 1 ... file n (for uncompressed sets) rompath\setname.zip (or .rar/.7z) (for compressed sets)
Now look at the used datfile. In case of the 'artwork' datfile, you see that it got several sets: 1943, airwolf, etc...
So in case you keep these artwork sets decompressed in c:\mame\artwork (so you e.g. got c:\mame\artwork\1943\...), the rompath has to point to c:\mame\artwork.
If you look at the flyers datfile for example, you'll see that all flyers are in one set called 'flyers'. So if you want to keep your flyer png file decompressed in a folder named d:\temp\test\mameflyers, you need a subfolder called 'flyers' in there (that's the setname) and the rompath points to d:\temp\test\mameflyers.
It's really simple. Just keep the general rules in mind and setup the rompath accordingly.
