I recently downloaded MAME .114 and version 3.100b of ClrMAME is not working with it. It errors out saying that it encountered a truncated DAT file when scanning for new information. Has anyone else gotten this error?

No. MAME .114 works fine.
If you compiled the version yourself, be sure you made a clean compile. You can easily test the functionality by running "mame.exe -listxml > test.dat" and look at the output if it's ok.

That's really odd, because I didn't compile it, but I downloaded it from the official site from the three different links. Will look to what you suggested.

well...and be sure you got enough free diskspace in cmpro's temp folder. MAME's output is about 30MB big....but hey..what's 30MB...
