This may sound dumb to some so sorry in advance....
I am a first time user of clmamepro...need some instruction how to set it up....Using Mame32 ver. .114 and i have alot of roms that need updating.....Ive had Mame32 for quite some time....never knew i needed to update my roms till i updated MAME. Any help will be greatly appreciated

There are several online tutorials listed on the cmpro homepage and one in the documentation. Go and read ;)

The quick way:
Profiler, Create->setup mame32 as datasource
Settings, Setup rompath
Scanner, hit scan and look at the output

So if i am correct this will update my ROMS to the current versions for the current of MAME 32?

Well...it will update the sets to the loaded data you've loaded in the profiler ...if you enabled the check AND fix options. And of course it can't magically create missing files. You need the new roms somewhere, so cmpro can add them to your collection.

Is there a way to sort parent roms from my mame collection (0.84u3)?

I want to get rid of all the useless clone roms as they take up too much space on my Xbox.
