Hi
I checked a little the board for this but I founded no answer.
clrmamepro detect as well wrong sample case but not wrong sample name.
If name is not good, the file is marked as unneeded...
Size sample is checked ? or crc ? I appears as they have any checked information : I put a wrong sample with a good name and clrmamepro don't detect it...
It seems that sample are not rebuild !
After many trys, I can't rebuild them.
If I missed this known problems, sry !

Well, easy answer to all your problems:

You can't check the name of samples or rebuild them because they don't have any hashvalue.

MAME's sample output is just the sample name, nothing else. Name check and rebuilder need hashvalues, so samples aren't supported for them.

Solution: Use the external samples datfile provided on my page.

Ok
I use sample datfile now.

But... question (not request)
they don't have hash value ?? ... in mame...
That means mame only check sample name ?
